England and Scotland: Land and Storytelling 

When Professors Julie Reizner and John Gibson originally proposed this course, it was Fall 2019. There was optimisim, excitement and heavy recruitment. Students were excited, and we were set to travel in Summer 2020.  Then, in March of that year, the world shut down. 

In June 2022, and we were able to recruit an even larger group, expanding the opportunity to community members, with some of those very same students from 2020 being able to attend--now as seniors.

We mastered the Tube. We learned about the Blitz and famous Scottish heroes. We ate amazing food and met incredibly fun and kind locals. We walked the Highlands, and the underground vaults.  We saw the world.
